convenient and clean stay

convenient locationclean roomgood bathroomhelpful owner
the location was quite convenient to the city centre and also to the train station. i found it very clean and quiet, with a good size bathroom offering a nice hot shower. i appreciated the kettle, mugs, fridge and the provided tea and coffee in my room, so useful. the owner was really helpful, always available for clear directions.
The floorboards upstairs creaked, i could hear it from my room. Though it wasn't a huge issue
Dining
9/10
the communal kitchen included everything needed to save money by eating in, so i could make both breakfast and dinner. every utensil and appliance was available, a great convenience for preparing meals, and i could find a well stocked tesco nearby.
Facilities
9/10
Easy access was granted via a keypad, great instructions were emailed beforehand, so there was no confusion. the room was of good size and the bed provided great comfort for a restful sleep. the bathroom looked recently updated.
Service
9/10
The self check-in process was convenient and straightforward. It made arrival and departure smooth. no staff are on-site, but i got great instructions before arrival about getting into the building and my room. everything worked very well.

thin wallsdirty shower
The blinds did not block out any light. The shower was not clean, so I had to stand on a hand towel while showering. Walls were really thin. I could always hear other guests (which was annoying).

the room included a personal fridge (very handy for storing snacks). i found the communal kitchen to be excellent. shops were also conveniently located nearby.
the room felt basic overall. i noticed there was no hand soap in the bathroom. the bed was also too firm for my preference.
